Jamie is a Co-founder of Trailsurfers, where he manages our Singapore school programmes and serves as a lead guide for our young riders. He's spent over a decade exploring trails around the world, from the forests of Singapore to the mountains of Nepal and Switzerland, and is a certified Level 1 Mountain Bike Coach (GSMBC) and Wilderness First Aider (NOLS).

For Jamie, the appeal of mountain biking is the mix of fitness, skill and adrenaline, plus the chance to spend time in nature. His preferred styles of riding are cross-country or enduro and he's also an occasional roadie. As well as coaching for Trailsurfers, he enjoys spending weekends guiding his own kids around the local trails.

As co-founder and inspiration behind Trailsurfers, Richard has spent 30 years exploring Asia's wildest terrain in search of its best singletrack, from humid jungles to high-altitude mountain passes.

As a certified Level 1 Mountain Bike Coach (GSMBC) and Wilderness First Aider (NOLS), he is trained to handle the unexpected when the trail bites back.

Having discovered mountain biking in the Surrey Hills, UK, during the early 90s, combining his passions for travel, cycling and the outdoors was inevitable. For Richard, MTB is the ultimate blend of fitness, technical skill and pure adventure.

From local trail rides, to big bike park days and epic expeditions, Richard believes that any day on a bike is a good day.

Shyam Gyan Limbu is a former National Downhill Champion of Nepal (2013) who represented the country at the 13th Asian Mountain Bike Championship in Chengdu, China. Since 2012, Shyam has competed throughout Nepal and Asia. He later founded the Asian Enduro Series to promote the growth of mountain biking throughout the region, including races in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei, Japan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Bangladesh, India and Nepal.

In 2014, Shyam founded GNARLY MTB Nepal and has since operated guided tours in Mustang, Solukhumbu (Everest Region), Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Bhutan. He has over a decade of professional experience and always prioritises safety while leading riders through the incredible landscapes of the Himalayas. Shyam is a Certified National Mountain Bike Instructor (Nepal Cycling Association), licensed mountain bike guide and certified first aid responder.

An energetic athlete with a love for adventure, Prachit brings a proven track record as a professional mountain biker to the team. He excels in high-pressure competitive environments, where he showcases the technical prowess and strategic thinking required for elite racing. His extensive experience in Cross-Country (XC) races further demonstrates his versatility across different terrains.

For Prachit, mountain biking is about a commitment to excellence and a collaborative spirit. He is a certified Level 1 Mountain Bike Coach (GSMBC) and Wilderness First Aider (NOLS) and prioritises the safety and well-being of his riders above all else. When he isn't leading trails, he applies his technical expertise to bike repairs and sales, ensuring every rider is equipped for their own adventure.

Kinley is the founder of Tall Pines, where he serves as both director and lead guide. Inspired by the warmth and hospitality he experienced while living in Ohio, USA, he set out to bring that same spirit of welcome to the mountains of Bhutan.

Guiding since 2004, he founded Tall Pines in 2014. While he enjoys every kind of two-wheeled adventure, his heart lies in building and riding backcountry trails across central and western Bhutan, routes he has personally designed and constructed.

Kinley became a guide to share his deep, native love for the Himalayas. For him, the mountains and rivers aren't a backdrop, they're home. He is a certified fly fishing instructor, holds Whitewater Rescue Training (WRT) and Wilderness First Aid (WFA) certifications, and has served as a trail advisor for the Trans Bhutan Trail. With more than two decades of guiding experience, Kinley doesn't just organise trips, he lives them.

After many years working as a bike technician and trail builder, Binesh decided it was time to take a more personal path, guiding riders through the landscapes he knows and loves. With over seven years of experience as a mountain biking guide in Bhutan, he has led guests from around the world past ancient monasteries, through remote villages, and along dramatic mountain trails.

For Binesh, biking has never been just a sport, it's a way to connect with nature, culture, and people. Whether you're an experienced rider chasing a challenge or simply here to soak in the beauty, he'll make sure your journey through Bhutan is smooth, safe, and unforgettable.

Tenzin Norbu has a deep passion for exploring and sharing Bhutan's heritage. He formalised this commitment through the DeSuung Skilling Program, completing a Cultural Tour Guide course that deepened his understanding of the nation's history, traditions, and cultural stories.

His love of adventure, honed through years of mountain biking, goes hand in hand with his appreciation for the land. For Tenzin, exploration isn't just about the physical landscape, it's about connecting with the rich culture and people that define it.

Shaped by the noble vision of His Majesty, Tenzin aspires to be someone who not only seeks adventure but values and preserves the stories behind it. He is eager to share these experiences with riders and to play his part in protecting Bhutan's unique cultural identity.

Hami is a licensed cultural and historical tour guide based in Cappadocia, with 15 years of experience in both guiding and mountain biking. He graduated from Nevşehir University with a degree in Tourism Guiding and also has first-aid training.

Mountain biking is not just his job; it's his passion and one of his favourite hobbies. He feels lucky to make a living doing what he loves. For Hami, the best way to experience Cappadocia is on two wheels or on foot, exploring its hidden trails, remote valleys and landscapes away from the crowds.

He loves telling the story of Cappadocia through its trails, sharing not only its incredible geology and history but also its local culture, traditions and everyday life. He enjoys helping people discover places they might never find on their own.

Hami believes tourism should be about genuine experiences, connecting with nature and respecting the places we visit. That's why he prefers small-scale, sustainable outdoor adventures over mass tourism. His goal is to share the Cappadocia he knows and loves, one trail at a time.

Ayberk is a local guide from Cappadocia with a strong passion for outdoor adventures and cultural exploration. He enjoys mountain biking and hiking, and loves exploring mountains and valleys with high energy and enthusiasm.

He is naturally social and enjoys meaningful conversations, learning from people, and sharing his own knowledge in return. With a solid background in history, culture, and local heritage.

Dani has been guiding mountain bike tours in Bali since 2011. His expertise spans cross-country, enduro, downhill, and gravity-oriented all-mountain trails. He designs fully customised rides across Bali that match your exact fitness and skill level, ensuring everyone from beginners to advanced riders gets a tailored experience.

Dani's love of the sport means teaching skills and explaining trail mechanics comes naturally to him. While exploring Bali's diverse terrain, rider safety is always his absolute priority. He welcomes cyclists of all backgrounds to experience the island's hidden trails and discover the very best riding locations Bali has to offer.
