An epic enduro adventure in Nepal's Lower Mustang, home to the deepest valley in the world. Warm up on all eight race stages of the Asian Enduro Series, then head into the mountains for switchback descents, shuttles to 4,200m and the legendary Lubra Trail. Includes a night in a 200-year-old teahouse, natural hot springs and a horseback-assisted trek to Rebel's Hideout.

Schedule

Day 1:
Arrive in Kathmandu. Transfer to Nepali Ghar hotel in the heart of Thamel. Welcome dinner.
Day 2:
Ride all eight race stages of the Asian Enduro Series in Nagarkot. Return to Thamel.
Day 3:
Morning flight to Pokhara, then a scenic drive to Lete (2,500m), stopping at the natural hot springs of Tatopani. Check in at See You Lodge. Welcome to the Lower Mustang!
Day 4:
Acclimatisation ride through the forests of Lete, and around beautiful Lake Titi. Overnight in Lete.
Day 5:
Drive to Jomsom, then descend the switchback trails Tower Power and Yak Bak either side of lunch. Ride into Kagbeni (2,800m) and check in at YacDonald's, a 200-year-old teahouse.
Day 6:
Shuttle to 4,200m. Descend Temple Run and The Hook, before weaving through Muktinath and surrounding villages, and returning to YacDonald's.
Day 7:
Warm up for the signature Lubra Trail with a dose of Lubracation - a 4km precursor to its famous namesake. After lunch, shuttle up and do it all again.
Day 8:
Trek to Rebel's Hideout (800m vertical), bikes carried on horseback. Enjoy a fast, furious descent to Om's Home in Jomsom.
Day 9:
Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara through the world's deepest valley. Relax at the luxurious Haven O Ganga hotel, then celebrate with a farewell dinner.
Day 10:
Return flight to Kathmandu. Pack bikes and explore more of this vibrant, ancient city.
Day 11:
International departure.

Trip Details

What this means:

Terrain – On mellow trails and at a steady pace, you feel comfortable tackling singletrack that may include tight trees, muddy sections, loose rocks, and sand.

Obstacles – You can confidently roll over small features (a few inches high) such as roots, rocks, and minor drops, but you generally keep both wheels on the ground.

Bike Parks – If you’ve been to a bike park, you handle Green and Blue trails with ease and are willing to try Red trails. You roll obstacles smoothly but still prefer to keep both wheels on the ground.

Bike Skills – You’re confident applying these fundamental bike handling techniques on a variety of singletrack:

Shifting – You look ahead and shift in response to the terrain.
Descending – You descend confidently in a standing position, holding the pedals level and maintaining balance.
Speed Control and Braking – You use momentum to climb rolling terrain and are comfortable using both your front and back brakes when required.

Shyam Gyan Limbu

Shyam Gyan Limbu is a former National Downhill Champion of Nepal (2013) who represented the country at the 13th Asian Mountain Bike Championship in Chengdu, China. Since 2012, Shyam has competed throughout Nepal and Asia. He later founded the Asian Enduro Series to promote the growth of mountain biking throughout the region, including races in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei, Japan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Bangladesh, India and Nepal. In 2014, Shyam founded GNARLY MTB Nepal and has since operated guided tours in Mustang, Solukhumbu (Everest Region), Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Bhutan. He has over a decade of professional experience and always prioritises safety while leading riders through the incredible landscapes of the Himalayas. Shyam is a Certified National Mountain Bike Instructor (Nepal Cycling Association), licensed mountain bike guide and certified first aid responder.

An energetic athlete with a love for adventure, Prachit brings a proven track record as a professional mountain biker to the team. He excels in high-pressure competitive environments, where he showcases the technical prowess and strategic thinking required for elite racing. His extensive experience in Cross-Country (XC) races further demonstrates his versatility across different terrains. For Prachit, mountain biking is about a commitment to excellence and a collaborative spirit. He is a certified Level 1 Mountain Bike Coach (GSMBC) and Wilderness First Aider (NOLS) and prioritises the safety and well-being of his riders above all else. When he isn't leading trails, he applies his technical expertise to bike repairs and sales, ensuring every rider is equipped for their own adventure.

Awesome. Looking back at our trip I have to say how impressed I was with the organisation. The rides were perfectly selected to match our skills, yet challenging and fun. The accommodations were top notch. The beds I slept in were better than my own at home! The service the drivers and trail guides provided were over the top, helping in the kitchens, serving the meals, cleaning and lubing the bikes... I felt like a spoiled prince. This was one of my most expensive vacations, but worth every penny. It really was a great deal for all we got. Remember, I'm basically a dirt bag surfer at heart!
